Domain decomposition methods for elliptic partial differential equations. New Schur complement preconditioner constructions based on the representation of the H1/2 norm in 2D and  3D. Theoretical investigation of the ‘separability’ property of the  H1/2 norm on the boundary of complex domains.  Numerical water flow modelling. Mesh generation. Relational database style parallel numerical programming.
