My name is Ernő Horváth currently I work at the Széchenyi István University. More about me here. There are courseware available below.
This short video is used to explain some concepts during my PhD defense. A self-driving Nissan Leaf powered by ROS, LIDAR and cameras manoeuvres at Automotive Proving Ground Zala Zone. Watch it on YouTube.
Explanatory video about the autonomous (self-driving) vehicle development of the Szenergy Team. The vehicle uses ROS, the scenes shows the trajectory execution of a vehicle modelled in Gazebo, visualised in rviz with Cartographer and teb local planner. Cartographer is an ROS package that provides real-time simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM). The teb_local_planner package implements a plugin to the base_local_planner of the 2D navigation stack. Watch it on YouTube.
A small demonstration of an own developed robotic arm, controlled by Kinect, programmed in LabVIEW. The demo was part of a student project at the Széchenyi István Univeristy Department of Computer Engineering. Watch it on YouTube.
A video from a project at the Széchenyi István University, Hungary with a small group of computer engineer students. Before this work our students had no experience in robotics or computer vision. Watch it on YouTube.
A small demonstration of a "robot follows human" scenario. Watch it on YouTube.
RosBrigde client for windows in C#. A demo of a C# application which connects to ROS via RosBridge. The communication is a JSON socket communication. The early release works with rosbridge 1.0 the latest ones with rosbridge 2.0 (rosbridge_suite). The whole source code is avaiable at: github.com/horverno/rosbridge-csharp-connection In the video the nootrix ros virtualbox was used. Watch it on YouTube.
A small demonstration of the various works done by the Szenergy Team. Own developed vehicle control algorithm, test bench measurement, FPGA and real-time based VCU, Power on LIN and CAN protocols, etc. More about the team. Watch it on YouTube.
2 student projects from 2016 at the Széchenyi István University - Raspberry PI + EV3 bluetooth connection and EV3 inverted pendulum - Arduino + EV3 bluetooth connection and EV3 segway
Programming languages: LabVIEW, python and C++
